I went and saw it. I loved it, but then again if John Major had directed a version with sock puppets I would have been sniffling in the back of the theater, whispering “It’s so beautiful…” so there you have it. I love Edward Cullen. Robert Pattinson is somewhat attractive but a truly terrible actor and when he saw Bella for the first time his face said “gastrointestinal discomfort” as opposed to “tortured love.” Emmett didn’t have enough lines, Rosalie was done really well and I personally enjoyed the kissing scene and the part with “You’re like my own personal brand of heroin” even though they weren’t done well. It was a theater full of screaming teenage girls (myself included) and I loved it. So, so much.
